F-104 Zvezdafighter is an all-metal monoplane with a mid-wing. Trapezoidal wing of small aspect ratio. In addition, in order to achieve maximum speeds, the wing was very thin (10 cm in the thickest place) and had so sharp edges that they could, in fact, cut (on the ground they wore special covers to protect members of the airfield teams).
the Tail Assembly T-shaped with all-moving rudders. The chassis is three-post, with a swivel front support.
the Powerplant of the aircraft — a turbojet engine with afterburner General Electric J79-GE-11A. Adjustable air inlets (to ensure the desired traction on different modes), located on the sides of the fuselage.
