Nieuport IV is a light auxiliary and reconnaissance aircraft built by the French company Societe Anonyme des Etablissements Nieuport under the supervision of the chief designer and owner of the company Eduard de Newport. The most widely used aircraft found in Russia. This aircraft, nicknamed "Newport with a spoon", was one of the most popular since 1912, despite the fact that it had no specific military purpose, rarely carried small arms and had a somewhat unusual control.
