USSTexas (BB-35) is a new York class warship. He participated in the First world war. Since the beginning of the Second world war, it was used to protect the Atlantic convoys, in the North African theater of operations, to support the landing in Normandy, and then sent to the Pacific ocean where he supported the landing on Iwo Jima and Okinawa. Later turned into a Museum. USS Texas is the oldest American dreadnought, and one of the few surviving ships involved in both world wars.
