a Long time ago in the ancient city of the great Mayan Empire were built nine majestic temple-pyramids. The floors of each temple were made of stones of different colors. The great priests, who had knowledge of ancient magic, undertook to rebuild the pyramids with its help, without destroying any of them. The purpose of their competition was to create nine one-color temples. To do this, the priests changed in some places huge blocks of stone between the neighboring pyramids. If one of them managed to connect together one-color floors, he received the right to decorate such temple own ladder. A special award was given to a priest who managed to create a completely monochrome pyramid: from the top of such a temple it was his followers who met the sun.
In the puzzle game "Maya" players act as Great priests. The playing field is an ancient city of temples with five-storey towers. At the beginning of the game all the towers are assembled from floors of different colors. Players can take turns to change the blocks of neighboring towers. As a result, they can assemble towers consisting entirely of floors of the same color.
Winning points are awarded not only for the creation of a completely monochrome tower. Successful movement of floors, as a result of which two colors of the same color are combined, gives a chance to get a winning point.
If there are three players, the rules of the game change a little. Each player receives a card, which shows the collected tower. Now it is necessary not just to combine the colors of the floors. Victory points bring only the completion of the towers indicated on the cards with the tasks.
the Game for four players follows the same rules as for three players. But players who sit opposite each other now act as allies. Their victory points add up, so they must act so as not to interfere with each other.
