Tank "Crusader IV" was created as a cruising tank – that is, a tank created for the development of breakthrough and destruction of rear supply lines of the enemy. Developed an excellent speed for those times – up to 40 km/h. the First batch of tanks was sent to North Africa, where it turned out that the German PZ III is much superior to their opponents. Weak armor and weak weapons affected very quickly – most of the cars burned in the first battle. The tank tried to modernize, having established a new powerful gun, but it obviously didn't hold out to the opponents. The tank was mass-produced until 1943, becoming one of the most popular tanks of the British army. He was replaced by more modern machines.
