Fairey Battle made its First flight on 10 March 1937. The plane came out unsuccessful – too heavy and slow. During the campaign of the 40s, many "Bats" were lost. The command of the British air force withdrew all these machines from combat units in November 1940. His service to write off the aircraft carried in the training centers of Canada and Australia.
