F-102A Delta Dagger was designed and manufactured by Convair and was the first supersonic all-weather fighter. F102A had two wing types: "Case X" and "Case XX". The F102A was mainly deployed in North America, with a relatively small number at overseas military bases. F102A was used during the Vietnam war. George Walker Bush, 43rd President of the United States, served in the 111th division of fighter-interceptor aircraft of the national guard as a pilot of the F-102A. The model was introduced for major international exhibitions of a scale modelling IPMS Scale Model World 2012 (UK).
