Additional Information
Blohm & Voss BV 141 was a German tactical reconnaissance aircraft during the Second world war. It is one of the most asymmetrical aircraft ever taken to the air. The cockpit, which housed the pilot, the shooter and the observer, is very similar to the one used on the Fw 189. Dr. Vogt calculated that the higher weight on one side would be offset by the torque of the screw. Despite the unusual design, the aircraft was really very stable and maneuverable. The aircraft was not put into mass production, one of the reasons was the use of a scarce engine installed on the Fock-Wulf 190.
