Vought F4U Corsair was an American fighter aircraft primarily used during world war II and the Korean war. The need for fighters exceeded the capabilities of the company Vought, because of what F4U began to be produced by Goodyear, the aircraft produced at this factory received the designation FG. From the first prototype delivered to the US Navy in 1940, to the last delivery to France in 1953, the Vought company produced 12 571 F4U Corsair in 16 modifications, the longest piston-engined fighter production in US air force history.
