experiments with new types of weapons were carried out On the A-8. In particular, the tested device SG117 "Ribloc" with 14 single-shot guns 30-mm guns МК108, allowing (theoretically) to shoot down one gulp four-engine bomber. The installation was mounted on six aircraft, but the results of their use in combat were unsatisfactory. Another "miracle weapon" was the 50 mm recoilless gun SG 500 "Yagdfaust", tested on one of the FW 190A-8 in August 1944 and later found application on the Me 163.
