Citroen 11 CV was presented in 1934 at the Paris motor show. It had a front-wheel drive, one-piece body and independent suspension. The engine was installed 1.3 liters capacity of 32 HP which was clearly not enough for this model. Soon the power unit was replaced by a 1.6-liter engine with a capacity of 36 HP And in subsequent years there was a new modification of 11 CV with a motor in 1911 cm3 with a capacity of 56 HP. This engine became the main for the entire series of front-wheel drive Citroen "Traction Avant".
