At the end of 80-ies the management of the Japanese company "Subaru" decided to start a program of participation in the world rally championship. The beginning was in 1990, when Subaru came on stage with the model legacy. Three years later, she was replaced by Impreza.
Subaru Impreza WRC was created on the basis of serial machines and specially prepared to participate in the rally championship. Impreza is considered the most successful car for the rally, as evidenced by the many victories of the pilots behind the wheel of this car.
Impreza was the car that made Subaru, which had a reputation for unpretentious farm "horses", has become a cult brand and a legend of Motorsport. From the very start in 1993, this machine has won the love and reverence of many fans around the world. The WRC 2004 Impreza is the car that brought Petter Solberg five wins at the stages of the world rally championship in the 2004 season and another win in 2005 at the rally in Sweden. During the participation in the world rally championship on account of this model three wins in the team competition in the 1995-1997 seasons and three wins in the individual competition in 1995, 2001 and 2003.
