Peterbilt Motors Company is an American company engaged in the production of classic trucks and tractors. The company is headquartered in the United States in Denton, Texas. The company is a subsidiary of PACCAR (which also includes Kenworth and DAF).
the First Peterbilt truck was assembled in 1939. The company founded by the timber manufacturer T. A. Peterman was conceived as an auxiliary production for the construction of trucks for the transportation of lumber. However, production grew and soon the company entered the open market and became one of the largest U.S. automakers.
In 1987, Peterbilt introduced its new tractor model, the Peterbilt 378. The car quickly became popular among drivers in North America and beyond. During the twenty-year period of production 378th took a niche in the freight market. The Peterbilt 378 is a classic truck that does not chase the passage of time and outstanding aerodynamic performance, it is a kind of tribute to the legendary series of Peterbilt bonnet trucks, which began with the fifties of the last century.
