Additional Information
In the sixties of the twentieth century in the automotive world began to form a new separate category of cars, which received a very accurate name —, supercars. These machines were equipped with the most advanced and powerful (for its time) technique and had the highest characteristics. Among other things, they were the vanguard of automotive fashion. They tested the most daring ideas and advanced technologies. Lamborghini LP500S belongs to this category of cars. The LP500S (602402 Modeler 1/24 Lamborghini LP500S) was first introduced at the 1982 Geneva motor show. The design, developed by Marcello Gandini, reflected his vision of the car, not distorted by the rules and traditions of the automotive industry. In just two years, the LP500S (602402 Modeler 1/24 Lamborghini LP500S) overtook all previous versions in sales. Doors guillotine type became a kind of calling card of this model. Although it turned out to be an interesting design decision, first of all it was made because of the large width of the car - standard doors in this case would be very inconvenient. The extravagant body of the car almost always aroused great interest in the streets, but, unfortunately, was far from perfect. Due to the low altitude there were some difficulties with boarding the car. However, drivers respected the LP500S (602402 Modeler 1/24 Lamborghini LP500S) for the outstanding acceleration for the time. The car could reach speeds of up to 290 km/h and accelerate to 100 km/h in less than 7 seconds. For three years of production sold 323 cars of this model.
