After the uprising of 1905, the battleship "Prince Potemkin-Tauride" was renamed "St. Panteleimon" (in 1714, on the day of the commemoration of this Saint, the Russian fleet won the Gangut). In 1906, "St. Panteleimon" purified from the revolutionaries team has become a flagship Separate practical detachment. This connection had to work out new methods of control of artillery fire at long distances and speeds. Already in 1907, "St. Panteleimon" accurately shot at 110 cable (1 cable = 185 m). Two years before that in the Tsushima battle opponents exchanged shots at a distance of only 55 cables. 10 Dec 1907 in accordance with the new classification battleship was enrolled in the class battleships. In 1910, the battleship was modernized, and in 1911 became the flagship of the black sea fleet. In the autumn of 1911, the ship took the first established "Rolling Imperial prize for the best shooting of ships." Three years later, this skill affected the battles of the First world war. 28 April 1915 battleship "Saint Panteleimon" opened fire with marginal distance there is 104 cable on German linear cruiser "geben" and the second (!) in one gulp hit adversary. After the civil war, the restoration of damaged and outdated battleship has recognized inexpedient. In 1923 it was dismantled for metal.
