Additional Information
In 1941, it was transferred to the Polish Navy and was named Krakowiak. It was the first destroyer of the Hunt class transferred to the Polish Navy. After a period of training crews, he took part in escort convoys to the Atlantic. In 1944, ORP Krakowiak fought in the English channel during a landing in Normandy. It was returned to the Royal Navy in 1946.
