Additional Information
Three very advanced class I-400 submarines were created as part of a plan to attack major U.S. cities and the Panama canal. The submarines had a huge range and were heavily armed with torpedoes and deck guns, in addition, another feature of the boat was a catapult to launch three Aichi M6A Seiran. However, the hostilities ended before at least one attack was carried out. After the surrender, the I-400s were moored in Avaya, where they were submerged after the study.
