HMS Buttercup (eng. His Majesty's Ship "Buttercup") — British Corvette type "flower", who participated in the Second world war as part of the fleets of great Britain and Belgium, and then served in the Norwegian Navy (under the name "Nordkyn"). Later converted into a whaling vessel "Thoris", sailed until 1969.
