Type VIIC/41 was a slightly modified version of the successful type VIIC and had basically the same characteristics. Weapons do not differ. The main difference was the strength of the hull, allowing to dive to a depth of 250 m. the mechanisms were Also facilitated (to compensate for the increase in the weight of the hull), which made them even easier than the type VIIC. Further development of the project was the type VIIC/42, but none of the ships of this type was built.
