Minsk is the second aircraft-carrying heavy cruiser of the Kiev class. The ship was laid in December 1972, in October 1975 launched, in February 1978 Minsk officially joined the Soviet Navy in the ranks of the Pacific Fleet. The ship is equipped with rocket launchers and four 76 mm General-purpose guns, which distinguishes Minsk from its American counterparts. In addition, "Minsk" was the first aircraft carrier cruiser, which was based on the aircraft vertical takeoff and landing.
In the 1990s, the aircraft carrier was sold and is currently used as a theme Park in Shenzhen, China.
