"Constellation" (eng. USS Constellation (CV-64)) is an American aircraft carrier, the second ship of the kitty hawk type. The third U.S. Navy ship with this name. The contract for the construction of the aircraft carrier was signed with the Newport News Shipbuilding & Drydock Company on July 1, 1956, the keel of the ship was laid on September 14, 1957 at the shipyards in new York. The entry into the fleet took place on October 27, 1961.
