Additional Information
In 1775. the war began for US independence from Britain. One of the steps taken by Britain in this war was the naval blockade of us ports. Yesterday's colonists of the fleet did not have and supported any projects, promising if not to lift the blockade, then at least to move its line into the open sea. One of these projects was the submarine "Turtle", designed by David Bushnell.
