Panzertriebwagen No. 16 (PO PzTrWg 16) - German heavy armored train manufactured by Berliner Maschinenbau-Gesellschaft Actien in 1942. Based on the armored locomotive WR 550 D14, with the addition of armor and two additional crew members for firing artillery positions at both ends of the train. Originally armed with a 20 mm air defense gun Flakvierling 38, which were later replaced by a crew of captured Soviet 76.2 mm guns. The thickness of the armour varied from 31 until 84 mm. PzTrWg 16 was heaviest from armoured trains, is made just one copy which fought on Eastern Front. In 1943, PzTrWg 16 was in reserve and was used to patrol the territories of guerrilla action. In the spring and summer of 1944 armored train became part of the army group "Center". Was taken over 1-2 on may 1945.
