Heavy, with powerful armor and a murderous 88-mm gun, this tank was distinguished by a perfect, truly Gothic beauty. However, the most important role in the history of world war II played a completely different machine — Panzerkampfwagen IV (or PzKpfw IV and Pz.(IV). In Russian historiography it is usually referred to as T IV.
