the Development of the PzKpfw V Panther was started in late 1941. The following year, the prototypes were tested, as a result of which a tank developed by MAN was selected. In January 1943 year tank "Panther" was launched in serial production, which lasted until the end of the war. In total, from 1943 to 1945 was built a little less than six thousand "Panthers", which took part in the battles both on the Eastern and Western front.
