Yak-11 (NATO classification: Moose) — Soviet training fighter. It was used from 1947 to 1962. 
the Prototype of a two-seat advanced training aircraft Yak-11 made its first flight in 1945. Then the tests with the star-shaped engine ASH-21 were continued, and in October 1946, a prototype, which received the designation Yak-11, appeared. The aircraft had a metal wing, a fuselage of a mixed design and a fully retractable landing gear with a tail wheel; the instructor and the cadet were located in a common glazed cabin. The engine AL — 21, 570 HP, semicylindrical star air cooling. Motor control, devices for monitoring its operation and air navigation equipment are located on the dashboards and side panels of the front cabin, which is the student's cabin. In the rear, instructor cabin, duplicated the main control of the aircraft and motor. Communication with the ground and with other aircraft is provided by an ultra-short-wave radio station RSIU-ZM, which can be used both from the front and from the rear cabin. A total of 4,566 aircraft were produced. The aircraft was used in 19 countries.
