RWD-8 - Polish aircraft designed and manufactured in the early thirties. Its main role was to be the main training aircraft. It was produced at two different plants simultaneously: PWS and DWL . PWS factory produced aircraft for military and civilian use, while DWL were focused exclusively on civilian. In total, more than 550 RWD-8 aircraft were produced, making it the largest Polish aircraft of its time. RWD-8 was used for communications and reconnaissance missions during the defence war of September 1939, a Small number of aircraft were sold to Palestine, Spain, Morocco and Brazil. In addition, Estonia has acquired a license to manufacture RWD-8s.
