the Predecessor of the Yak-11 can be considered the Yak-3 M-82, on the basis of which was created a training fighter with a single-row radial PD ASH-21, originally received the designation Yak-U. the Prototype was tested in 1946 year, and soon the aircraft was adopted under the designation Yak-11.
