An-22 or "Antey" ("product 100", NATO codification: Cock — "Cock") — Soviet heavy turboprop transport aircraft, the world's largest turboprop aircraft.
Designed for transport over long distances heavy and bulky military equipment and troops, as well as for landing parachute and landing methods of airborne troops. The first flight was performed in 1965. 69 copies were serially produced, including two for strength tests. Used in the air force of the USSR, continues to be used in the Russian air force and the Ukrainian airline "Antonov Airlines".
