by Conducting research on various schemes of rotors, Flettner developed his own - two overlapping screws, which he first tested on a helicopter Fl.265. This scheme, although considered exotic at the time, became the basis for Flettner helicopters in the prewar and war years.
In 1940, the decision to mass-produce Fl was ready.265, but by this time there was a new double version - Fl.282, on which and switched all work.
