Dassault Mirage 2000 - French multi-purpose single-engine multi-purpose fighter of the fourth generation. Was developed in the late 1970s as a lightweight fighter based on the Mirage III for the French air force (Armée de l'air). Mirage 2000 evolved into a multi-purpose aircraft with several main options, exported to many countries. The aircraft was used during the Gulf war, the conflict in the Balkans, Afghanistan. In the French air force, the aircraft is replaced by a more modern Dassault Rafale.
the Mirage 2000B is a double training option.
the Mirage 2000N is a variant armed with a nuclear missile, 2000D - modification to attack ground targets, established on the basis of the Mirage 2000N.
