Grumman F9F/F-9 Cougar - carrier-borne fighter of the U.S. Navy. Created on the basis of the Grumman F9F Panther. The main difference from its predecessor is the replacement of the straight wing with a more modern swept wing. Despite the new name, the Navy classified the Cougar as a new model
