Super Étendard (Étendard with the French "battle flag") is a French supersonic deck attack aircraft developed by Dassault-Breguet for service in the French Navy. Super Étendard made its first flight in October 1974 and entered French service in June 1978. French Super Étendards have been used in several military operations, such as the Kosovo war, Afghanistan and the Libyan war.
