Vampire F. MK 1 (D. H. 100) - was conceived in 1941 on the basis of de Havilland (Halford) H-1 turbojet engine with centrifugal flow. The fuselage for it was developed on the basis of D. H. 98 mosquito. Although the first batch of aircraft was released in early 1945 years, the aircraft did not have time to take part in the fighting, as it was adopted by the Royal air force only in 1946 g.
