Ka-18 helicopter was a further modification of the Ka-15.0 h was intended for civil aviation. The list of the works performed by it included transportation of passengers and patients, mailings and freights. Ka-18 helicopter was also used in aviation and chemical works.
the Prototype was built in 1956., in 1957. it successfully passed the state tests. The helicopter was produced commercially and was in operation for about 20 years. Total built 111 machines.
In 1958 at the world exhibition in Brussels Ka-18 was awarded a gold medal.
