the First gyroplane KACKP-1, built by engineers N. And, Kamov and N. K. Skrizhinsky, took to the air on September 25, 1929. The gyro was piloted by I. V. Mikheev, and in the rear of the cabin was its Creator N. I. Kamov. Structurally, the device resembled the famous model of gyroplane S-8 Serva. Soon on the basis of KASKR-1 designers built a better autogyro KASKR-2 (1930). In assessing the flight characteristics of gyroplanes attended by specialists of the air force research Institute From 1929 to 1931 was performed 79 test flights.
