the Mi-10 design Bureau MIPI Helicopter was built in 1960. On June 15, 1960, the Mi-10 first took to the air under the control of the leading test pilot of the company R. I. Kaprelyan. The tests were successful. Already in the fourth flight of the Mi-10 went to the flight length of 3000 km, which is successfully completed by performing several landings for refueling. July 9, 1961 the car was first demonstrated publicly at the air parade in honor of the Day Of the Soviet air Fleet. The crew of Zemskov September 23, 1961, set an absolute world record lifting capacity of 15103 kg to a height of 2200 m. the Helicopter has successfully passed the full range of tests and was accepted for production.
