Atanov-2 - multipurpose aircraft short takeoff and landing, made its first flight in August 1947 (prototype CX-1). Serial production was deployed at the Kiev plant №473. Until 1963 in Kiev released 3164 copies of An-2 of various modifications. In 1958, the Soviet Union signed a contract with Poland and gave it the right to produce Antonov biplane. The leading Polish manufacturer of the An-2 identified the WSK PZL-Mielec in the city of melets. In total, 11915 copies were built in Poland.
