the First aircraft equipped with the J47-GE-27 was the F-86F, another of the Sabre family, which first took off on March 19, 1952. Thanks to the use of a new engine, the rate of climb increased to 2835 m/min, and the maximum speed to 1107 km/h. During the release of the F-86F, numerous changes were made to its design. One of them was the installation of a new sight A-4 (modification F-86F-10). According to the results of combat use in Korea, attempts were made to strengthen the armament of the aircraft. So in the framework of the GUNVAL 6 aircraft F-86F-1 and 4 aircraft F-86F-10 were armed with guns T-160 caliber 20 mm and received a new designation F-86F-2. The other two F-86F-1s were armed with 4 20 mm oerlicon cannons and were designated F-86F-3s. In the spring of 1953, eight aircraft equipped with guns were sent to Korea, where they were evaluated in a combat situation. The use of new weapons was not entirely successful.
