EA-18 is created on the basis of the F/A-18F Super Hornet to replace the obsolete aircraft electronic warfare EA-6B Prowler, and is intended for conducting electronic intelligence and jamming radar and communications systems of the enemy, destruction of the radar anti-radar missiles HARM.
