Nakajima B5N2 'Kate' was the most massive torpedo bomber of the Second world war. The single-engine monoplane was equipped with a single machine gun and had a relatively low speed, which made the aircraft very vulnerable to enemy fighters. However, the aircraft performed well in the attack on pearl Harbor, in the battles in the coral Sea and the battle for midway island.
