Boeing 737-400 (B737-400) is a variant with the lengthened fuselage of a passenger plane Boeing 737-300. Both of these aircraft together with the model 737-500 make up the classic series of the Boeing-737 family of aircraft (Boing 737 Classic).
Commercial operation of the Boing 737-400 began in 1988. Until the end of serial production in 2000, 486 aircraft were produced. The Boeing 737-400 was replaced by the 737-800 model.
