Me262 was the first jet fighter in the world. The project was started back in April 1939, July 18, 1942 Me 262 made its first flight. The plane had two engines Jumo 004B which allows to reach speeds of 870 km / h at an altitude of 6000 meters. The practical ceiling was 11 400 meters, range – 1050 km. Me262 A-1a/U5 was supposed to arm six MK108, with such weapons was built only one prototype (W. Nr. 112355).
