Lockheed F-80 'Shooting Zvezda' was the first jet fighter with a speed of more than 800 km/h, the first mass fighter of the United States, and the first American jet fighter to take part in the fighting. The prototype P-80 made its first flight in January 1944 and entered service in February 1945. Due to the end of world war II, the air force has reduced the production plan from 5000 to 917 aircraft. In 1948, the P-80 was renamed the F-80.The F-80A has a J33-A-5 engine that accelerates the aircraft to 923 km/h. the Armament consists of two 12.7 mm M3 machine guns with 1800 rounds of ammunition.
