In the early 30-ies in the world there was the idea of creating a high-speed bomber that could overtake his modern fighter-biplanes. One of the incarnations of this concept was a twin-engine bomber Ju 88, designed by the German firm Junkers Flugzeug - und Motorenwerke. In the spring of 1941 began production of aircraft Ju 88A-4 c reinforced weapons, which were installed engines of liquid cooling Jumo 211J increased power. Modification of the Ju 88A-14 featured a cannon MG FF in ventral gondola. These Samolety were used mainly as anti-ship over the Atlantic, the Baltic and the Mediterranean in 1941 - 1943.
