Medium bomber and scout Do-17M/P, equipped with radial engines "Bramo-323", was created based on the machine Do-17E/F. Other options included the do-17Z dual-control training aircraft, the Do-17Z-5 naval reconnaissance aircraft, the Do-17Z-6 long-range night fighter (with the nose of the Ju-88C-2 aircraft) and another night fighter , the Do-17Z-10 with a modified nose compartment.
