Fighter I-153 was the last and most perfect in the family of serial fighter-biplane design OKB N. N. Polikarpova. He was distinguished by the upper wing of the "Seagull", retractable landing gear and reinforced weapons of four machine guns ShKAS. On serial aircraft engines were installed M-62, and later - and more possible M-63.
