B-1a/U1 Me 262 modification A, were created in the final stages of the war to intercept allied bombers in the skies of Germany. The aircraft was equipped with a radar "Neptune", and a new cabin capable of accommodating the pilot and radar operator. The engines differed from those installed on conventional "Swallow" the aircraft at 150 km / h was faster than any fighter the allies. The interceptor was equipped with heavy weapons of four 30 mm MK 108 guns. The aircraft appeared too late in too small quantities, but was able to win a decent amount of air victories.
