the Saab Viggen Fighter has been the backbone of the Swedish air force for many years. the First AJ 37 Viggen was developed for a multi-purpose combat aircraft capable of performing anti-aircraft, anti-ship and ground attacks. Later, a version of the JA-37 "Jaktviggen"was developed to improve the efficiency of the Swedish air defense system. It is equipped with a new set of avionics, radar and weapon systems capable of enhancing its role as an all-powerful fighter-interceptor aircraft. In terms of design, the Viggen was characterized by the adoption of an aerodynamic Delta-duck solution, and it was equipped with a large and powerful Volvo RM8 turbofan. Thanks to this, Viggen was able to reach a maximum speed of Mach 2.1.
