Additional Information
in The development of the Yak-52 were taken into account the wishes of many pilot instructors, as well as many years of experience in the operation of Yak-18. The chassis with the tail wheel, used on the Yak-50, was replaced by a chassis with a nose wheel, which simplified the technique of taking off and landing, as well as taxiing on the ground. To warn about the critical stall speed, the aircraft is equipped with a special alarm. The wing was strengthened and modified for the installation of two landing flaps. The new aircraft allowed to make a long inverted flight and perform aerobatics with negative overloads. Since the aircraft was intended for initial training, the requirements for it were very strict. Testing and fine-tuning continued until 1979. From 1979 to 1998, about 1800 aircraft were produced.
